Cartoons are a great place to start
For most of us; high school is far away in the rearview mirror. So we had to shake off the dust when we met with Corinda State High School’s leadership to discuss this project.

After sitting down with the stakeholders at CSHS, it became clear that this venture would require Tugboat to walk CSHS through every part of production. This wasn't a problem; everyone was on the same page and they were quick to pick up on the pipeline we put forward. To make it as smooth as possible, we brought CSHS in and showed them how things would look, how we would make it happen, and what we needed from them to translate their intent into outcome.

Art style, animation complexity, sound design, scripting, and just about every question we could ask about the project turned into a collaborative process. Something that the faculty at CSHS was entirely sure of; was their desire to equip the students with the skills to navigate their education in a way that made sense for them, and the world they would enter.
Having the client walk with us through production really enabled us to hone in on what mattered and how to elevate what could be a vague, and dry presentation overall. Working together, we were able to jump over both of those pitfalls, and with the wonderful voiceover from Ed we were able to put together something that Tugboat is overall, quite proud of. It might not be the flashiest job offered to us, or represent our current talent levels, but we’re proud of what we achieved with Corinda State High School. It’s a project we at the studio remember quite fondly.
